  • Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (subclass 187) – this is a permanent visa that allows you and your family to reside in Australia, but your employer must be based in a designated regional area.  You must also have at least three years of full-time work experience and meet the minimum skills required to successfully perform the job duties.
  • Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) – another permanent visa, the Employer Nomination Scheme is similar to the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme in the fact that it requires three years of full-time work experience but does not require a designated regional area.  If you’re currently in a temporary visa transition or in a direct entry stream method, the Employer Nomination Scheme is the best option for you.
  • Training Visa (subclass 407) – this temporary visa allows you to work in Australia while you are undertaking on the job training with an Australian employer.
