Education Sector Immigration Law Solution
Ausdirect Migration is a leading immigration law service provider for the Eduction sector in Australia. We have assisted and represented many private and public schools in Australia for immigration matters including business sponsorship applications, sponsorship compliance, nominations and applications for TSS 482 Visas and SESR 494 Visas. We are proud of being able to apply our in-depth migration law skills and experience to help schools address labour shortages by bringing in skilled teachers where schools can’t source an appropriately skilled Australian.

Standard Business Sponsorship
We manage sponsorship applications for the schools to become approved standard business sponsor through the agreement with the Australian government in order to nominate international teachers for work visas. The sponsorship is valid for 5 years during which we work with the school on sponsorship obligation management, work visa nomination, as well as renewal of the sponsorship before expiry.

Nomination
A well planned and successful nomination application is crucial to the sponsorship program. The nomination for employing of international teachers must be approved before the visa applications can be assessed favourably. Our team assists schools to plan and meet the strict Labour Market Testing (LMT) requirements set by the Department of Home Affairs, and manage the entire nomination process for the schools on-behalf. We also work with Regional Certifying Bodies (RCB) to support SESR 494 visa nominations.

TSS and SESR Visa Application
TSS 482 visas can be valid for up to 2 years or 4 years depending on the occupation. The teachers must be able to meet the language, skills and working experience requirements set by the Department of Home Affairs. The visa holders must work for the school during the validity of the visa which can be renewed subject to the satisfaction of further requirements. SESR 494 Visas can instead be granted for 5 years with a pathway to permanent visa 191. Our team works with the schools to screen candidate profiles to ensure the success of the applications.
