Subclass 600: Visitor Visa
Frequent Traveller Stream
Subclass 600 Visitor visa in the Frequent Traveller stream is a short-term visa which allows citizens of the People's Republic of China who travel often to Australia for tourism, business visitor activities and/or personal reasons.
Business visitor activities include any of the following activities:
The visa allows multiple entries with a maximum of 3 months stay in Australia after each entry.
Business visitor activities include any of the following activities:
- making general business or employment enquiries;
- investigating, negotiating, entering into, or reviewing a business contract;
- an activity carried out as part of an official government to government visit;
- participating in a conference, trade fair or seminar in Australia and not being paid by an organiser for participation.
- an activity that is, or includes, undertaking work for, or supplying services to, an organisation or other person based in Australia. For instance, making general business enquiries for company based in Australia;
- an activity that is, or includes, the sale of goods or services directly to the general public.
Stay Period
Visa validity can be up to 10 years from the visa grant date.The visa allows multiple entries with a maximum of 3 months stay in Australia after each entry.

The applicant must be in the People's Republic of China to apply for the Subclass 600 Visitor visa in the Frequent Traveller stream. The applicant can be in the People's Republic of China or anywhere outside Australia to be granted this visa.
To make a valid application for Subclass 600 visa in the Frequent Traveller stream and/or be granted this visa, the following sets of general criteria must be met:
The following persons can apply for this Subclass 600 visa in the Frequent Traveller stream:
- any person who met the eligibility criteria outlined in "Eligibility Criteria" tab on this page;
- the member of family unit of the applicant, e.g.: spouse/de facto partner and children who are still dependent on the applicant or the spouse/de facto partner of applicant, must make a separate visa application.
The following are some of the conditions that are mandatory to be imposed:

Condition 8115 - Engaging in business visitor activity only
The visa holder must not work in Australia other than engaging in a business visitor activity.Business visitor activities include any of the following activities:
- making general business or employment enquiries;
- investigating, negotiating, entering into, or reviewing a business contract;
- an activity carried out as part of an official government to government visit;
- participating in a conference, trade fair or seminar in Australia and not being paid by an organiser for participation.
- an activity that is, or includes, undertaking work for, or supplying services to, an organisation or other person based in Australia. For instance, making general business enquiries for company based in Australia;
- an activity that is, or includes, the sale of goods or services directly to the general public.
Condition 8201 - Maximum 3 months study
While in Australia, the visa holder must not engage in any studies or training for more than 3 months.Condition 8503 - No further stay
While in Australia, the visa holder will not be able to make a valid visa application for any substantive visa other than a protection visa.Condition 8516 - Continue to satisfy the criteria for the grant of the visa
The visa holder must continue to satisfy the criteria for the grant of the Subclass 600 Visitor visa in the Frequent Traveller stream.Condition 8527 - Must be free from Tuberculosis on each entry to Australia
The visa holder must be free from Tuberculosis at the time of travel to, and entry into, Australia for every occasion.Condition 8531 - Must leave before visa expiry
Visa holder must not remain in Australia after the end of the period of stay permitted by the visa.Condition 8572 - Must undergo medical assessment if requested
The visa applicant or visa holder must undergo health examination at approved panel medical centres when requested to do so.Condition 8573 - Must not stay in Australia for more than 12 months in any 24-month period
The visa holder must not stay in Australia for more than 12 months cumulatively in any consecutive 24-month period. If required to obtain specific dates for each entry into and departure from Australia, the visa holder may request for travel records by completing Form 1359 Request for international movement records.Condition 8609 - Notify change in personal details within 14 days
The visa holder is obligated to notify the Department for any change in the following personal details:- Name;
- Residential Address;
- Email Address;
- Phone Number;
- Passport Details.
