Regional Occupation List (ROL)
Regional Occupation List (ROL) includes a set of skilled occupations determined by the Department of Employment (DoE) and the Department of Home Affairs and is reviewed every six months.
This list is complementary to both the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) and the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL). These three lists combine and form the Skilled Occupation List (SOL)
Occupations appearing on the ROL can be used for a visa application for one of the following visa types:
- 187 – Regional Sponsor Migration Scheme (subclass 187)
- 494 – Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (provisional) (subclass 494) – Employer sponsored stream
