South Australia 491 Visa Open to Overseas-based Applicants of Certain Engineering Occupations
Following the opening of South Australia skilled visa nomination program to applicants (with one of the 70 occupations) currently residing offshore from 28 September 2021 , Migration SA has further announced that an additional 24 Engineering occupations will be opened to offshore-based applicants from 02 November 2021.
From 02 November 2021, you can lodge a Registration of Interest (ROI) to be considered for South Australia 491 visa nomination if you are currently residing outside Australia and your Engineering occupation is in one of the 24 ANZSCO occupations listed below:
South Australia Minimum Requirements for Offshore-based Engineering Applicants
The following are the minimum requirements for offshore-based applicants with one of the 24 Engineering occupations to receive nomination from South Australia:
- At least 8 years of work experience in the nominated occupation or closely related occupation;
- Possess Superior English
, unless holding an eligible passport from a country where the primary language is English (the United Kingdom, the United States of America, New Zealand, Ireland and Canada);
- Score at least 85 points for the Skilled Work Regional visa (subclass 491) in the Department of Home Affairs’ points test
