Similar to Subclass 101, but for children who are already in Australia at the time of application.

Dependent Child Visa (Subclass 445) – Temporary Visa

This is a is a temporary visa for children of applicants who hold a temporary Partner visa (Subclass 309 or 820) and are waiting for a decision on their permanent Partner visa (Subclass 100 or 801).

• Allows the child to stay temporarily in Australia until their parent’s partner visa is finalized
• Once granted, the child can be added to their parent’s permanent partner visa application (Subclass 100 or 801)
